Vegetable Juice may be the quickest way to good health today. We all need raw food in our diet and vegetable juice is an excellent way to have a good quantity of it. Many people do the vegetable juice diet to lose weight; but drink it even without any such goals in mind and vegetable juice will do you a world of good.

What Types Of Vegetables Should I Juice?

The idea is that since a juice takes little time to digest, it goes straight to your body. Since vegetable juice is not naturally sweet (except for carrot or beetroot) it is good for diabetics since it will not raise their insulin levels.

Juice is best had fresh. Straight from the juicer, into your glass and down your gullet. If you keep the juice standing, it will rapidly lose its nutrients as the ingredients start getting oxidized.

Why Should I Have Juice Rather Than Eat Veggies Whole?

Eating whole veggies- cooked or raw- is always good for you. But is it not possible to have a large quantity of uncooked vegetables- our digestion would not stand for it. Cooked or steamed vegetables are also equally good. Vegetable juice gives us a wide variety of vegetables that can be had raw and is easily digestible.

So Is Juice The Only Way To Go?

Having a glass of vegetable juice a day is good for the body. Juice fasting is not easy. People do go to extremes with a juice fast, but it is important to balance it with healthy eating habits, rather than crave a slim body that is actually dying for a burger.
